“ATHENA” EDUCATIONAL ACADEMY

The Athena Educational Academy was founded and began operating in Chicago by educators Dimitris Georgakopoulos, Vasiliki Georgakopoulou, and Pavlos Konstantopoulos in 1973, with branches in CICERO-BERWYN, DES PLAINES, MT. PROSPECT, PARK RIDGE, and currently in MORTON GROVE. Over twenty thousand (20,000) Greek children have attended during its 53 years of uninterrupted and continuous operation.
The “ATHENA” EDUCATIONAL ACADEMY is fully recognized and accredited by the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs of Greece since 1982. Consequently, all academic degrees and certificates awarded to students attending or graduating from the “ATHENA” EDUCATIONAL ACADEMY are equivalent to those from Greek public schools in Greece.
